A short list of things that are easy to check early and expensive to discover late.
Who is the registered owner, and does that match the person you are speaking with? Is the building fully legalised, including any terrace, extension or converted space?
What are the annual running costs, and who currently manages the building? What is included in the price, and what is being removed before handover?
